From our beginning in 1975, we exclusively serviced and sold pre-owned Saabs and Volvos until welcoming MINI to our family of special cars in 2010.  Scandinavian was founded by a dealership mechanic on the belief that both the owners of specialized European cars and those who work to service them were yearning for an alternative to the traditional dealership.   New car dealers and others calling themselves specialists have come and gone, but we remain above the crowd of instant experts as the oldest and largest independent Saab and Volvo sales and service facility in metropolitan Washington.

Volvo, MINI, and Saab manufacture sophisticated machines providing superior safety, value, fuel economy and comfort. Nearly all cars today require unique factory proprietary software to perform a wide array of repairs and service procedures. We commit the large amount of money and time required to have up to the minute factory software and special tools. No other local independent sales and service company  equals our long-term investment in providing the highest level of technical resources and product knowledge. This enables us to expertly maintain every client’s Volvo, MINI, and Saab, and to handpick and prepare premium used ones.

The outcome is the best of both worlds: our sales and service clients experience factory level technical support and a straight-talking personal relationship that is based on value, truth and fairness. Scandinavian is free of inflated dealer price schedules and sales quota driven pressure tactics.
